A small quartz point set inside a real acorn top and electroformed with copper then strung on a copper chain, you choose your length.
This pendant measures about 1.75” tall.
Each piece is lovingly made in my home and takes days to complete. I prep each piece with stones or crystals. Seal the portion I wish to leave exposed and paint with conductive paint for the portion I wish copper to grow. It is then submerged in an acid bath with copper anodes. Electricity is applied for the copper ions to travel from the anode to the cathode (my piece). After a time period of 6-36 hours, I pull the piece from the bath and sand, grind, polish with my dremel. Then patina and seal.
